Wayne Academy is a school for the Gifted founded by Diana Prince. Born into a lost Amazon nation, she came to New York city to study the modern world and report back her findings to her mother and the rest of her tribe. However, while on her mission, she met an idealist by the name of Charles Xavier. The two shared the belief that everyone with special abilities - especially children - needed a place where they could feel safe from those who did not understand them. Together, they opened a school devoted to helping students who were mutants, metahumans, extraterrestrials, and even those normal children who were extraordinary in some way. Funded by Bruce Wayne through the Wayne Foundation, the school is located in New York City. Housing high school teenagers from around the world, Wayne Academy teaches them how to control their powers. It is place where they can be who they truly are without fearing for their lives. OOC: Melded is a threading-centric game about characters from Marvel and DC placed in an AU where they co-exist.
